The City of Rohnert Park requires that all dogs, cats
or pot-bellied pigs be licensed. For your convenience, we have three
locations that you may obtain a license for your animal: City Finance
Department at 6800 Hunter Drive, Suite B; City Animal Shelter at 301 J.
Rogers Lane; and 49 Pet at 375 Southwest Boulevard.
If your animal gets lost, call the Animal Shelter at
(707) 584-1582 to see if your animal was turned in. If you animal is
wearing the tag, the Shelter will be able to identify your name and
address by the license number on the tag and will contact you.

Puppies and Kittens
When your puppy or kitten receives his or her first
year rabies shot ( 4 months ) bring the proof of rabies to the Finance

If you intend to have the animal spayed or neutered
within 90 days of the first full year's shot, wait until you have
completed the surgical procedure and bring both the neuter and rabies
