Opening an Account
All Residential and Commercial
establishments will need to apply for Water/Sewer/Refuse services. You may sign up for services by either coming
into the office at 6800 Hunter
Drive, Suite B, Rohnert Park or contacting the Utility
Department at 585-6750.
Transferring an Account
Existing utility customers moving to another address in Rohnert Park may transfer services to their new address by
coming into the office at 6800
Hunter Drive, Suite B, Rohnert Park, or by contacting the Utility
Department at 585-6750.
Social security verification is required for transfers of service.
Temporary Service
For unoccupied residences that require water, sewer and
garbage services (ie: vacant homes under construction or homes currently for
sale or rent), the City of Rohnert
Park offers temporary water service. Temporary service accounts are billed water
and sewer based upon the monthly water consumption at the property; in addition
billed for garbage on the lowest rate regardless of the size of the garbage can
currently at the residence.
Temporary service can be activated by coming into the office
at 6800 Hunter Drive,
Suite B, Rohnert Park,
or by contacting the Utility Department at 585-6750.
Closing an Account
To close a utility account, residents may come into the
office at 6800 Hunter Drive,
Suite B, Rohnert Park,
or contacting the Utility Department at 585-6750, or by completing the Close-Out Application Form. To mail return to City of Rohnert Park,

When closing an account, residents must provide the
requested closeout date and their forwarding address and phone number.
