The Rohnert Park Recreation Department operates and
maintains playgrounds, mini-parks, picnic grounds, full-facility parks
and public pools all around the city.
Residents can enjoy any one of thirteen neighborhood
parks, all varying in amenities - from simple, quiet picnic areas
shaded by trees, to bustling tot-lots and playgrounds, to spacious
greens perfect for field sports. You can also get a little fresh air
relaxing in one of eight mini-parks tucked into neighborhoods
throughout the City.
Five public swimming pool facilities - Alicia Pool,
Benecia Pool, Honeybee Pool, Ladybug Pool, and Magnolia Pool - offer
water fun for everyone. Honeybee Pool is operated year-round and the
other pools are open from Memorial Day through Labor Day. Each pool has
poolside furniture, an extensive grass area, and a concession bar.
Lifeguards are on duty at all times, and they strictly enforce pool
rules.
