The Department of Public Safety is concerned with drugs
in our community and crimes associated with the illegal drug trade.
Patrol officers work closely with the Rohnert Park officers assigned to
the Sonoma County Narcotics Task Force. These officers work in an
undercover capacity and provides valuable information and input as a
member of the Task Force operations.
By participating in this multi-agency task force the
Department of Public Safety has numerous resources available to combat
the growing problem of illegal drugs in our community.
The Department of Public Safety participates in these
efforts with the Sonoma County Sheriff's Department, Santa Rosa Police
Department, Sonoma County Probation Department, and the State of
California-Bureau of Narcotics Enforcement (B.N.E.)
The Task Force works closely with the Sonoma County
District Attorney's office to insure drug dealers are prosecuted for
bringing illegal drugs and related ills into our community.
Information can be relayed to the Sonoma County
Narcotics Task Force by simply calling the business line of your local
police department.
