THE POSITION
The City of Rohnert Park is recruiting for the position of Part-Time
Theatre Technician at the City's Performing Arts Center. This position
requires: working a flexible schedule including evenings and weekends,
possession of a valid Class C California driver's license, and the
ability the lift 50 pounds.
EXAMPLES OF DUTIES
Scenery construction, production load-in/load-out, production crew,
lighting hang and operation, sound board operation, equipment
maintenance and inventory, rental user assistance and supervision;
other duties as required. Must have knowledge of or experience in technical theatre operations.
DESIRABLE QUALIFICATIONS
Knowledge of:
- Music dance and theatre production
- Modern theatrical lighting and sound systems
Ability to:
- Follow oral and written directions
- Establish and maintain cooperative working relationships
- Organize projects and assignments
- Perform duties as assigned with minimal supervision
Training & Experience:
- Theatre production experience or training necessary
- Possess a valid Class C California driver's license
