The City of Rohnert Park has adopted a new Green Building Ordinance and a new Energy Efficiency Ordinance...

The Green Building Ordinance covers all new residential and commercial construction, all commercial tenant improvements, and residential additions greater then 500 square feet.  The Green Building Ordinance will be effective for all building permit applications submitted on, or after, July 1, 2007.

The Energy Efficiency Ordinance covers all new residential construction, all new swimming pools, and residential additions greater than 1,000 square feet.  The Energy Efficiency Ordinance will be effective for all building permit applications submitted on, or after, April 26, 2007.
