Insurance Requirements Print E-mail
All contractors shall maintain limits no less than: General Liability - One million ($1,000,000) per occurrence for bodily injury, personal injury and property damage; Automobile Liability - one million ($1,000,000) per accident for bodily injury and property damage; Employer's Liability - one million ($1,000,000) per accident for bodily injury or disease. Such policies shall name the City of Rohnert Park, its officers, employees and agents as additional insured. A contractor must furnish a current certificate of insurance and endorsements on City of Rohnert Park forms to the City's Risk Manager showing the required coverage and providing for thirty (30) days written notice to the City of Rohnert Park by the insurance company prior to cancellation or any change in policy coverage. Only the Certificate of Insurance and Endorsements on City of Rohnert Park forms are acceptable.

Contractor shall maintain, during the life of a contract/agreement, workers compensation insurance for all employees employed by contractor for the contract/agreement period on City of Rohnert Park forms. The only other form that will be acceptable is State Fund's. The workers' compensation policy is to be endorsed with a waiver of subrogation. The insurance company, in its endorsement, agrees to waive all rights of subrogation against the City, its officers, officials, employees and volunteers for losses paid under the terms of this policy which arises from the work performed by the named insured for the City.
