Don't dump that used motor oil! Recycle it! Using a
funnel, carefully drain used motor oil into a clean container such as a
rinsed-out plastic milk jugs or special 6-quart oil container. Drain
extra oil from the filter into the container (leave the filter to drain
in the funnel for a couple of hours), and place the oil filter into a
heavy zip-lock bag. Bring the used oil and filter to a Used Oil
Redemption Center.
