As work is performed on a project, data relative to staff and hours worked is compiled and the applicant is billed. Current Engineering fees and charges are based on the Engineering Department Fee-Based Cost of Services Study dated January 2006.

Applicants are billed periodically for services performed. When an applicant's project is completed and all bills have been paid, any remaining funds are returned to the applicant. On February 26, 2008, the City Council approved Resolution No. 2008-34 approving the Updated Engineering Fee Schedule effective on April 29, 2008.
