The Senior Citizens Advisory Commission is comprised of 5 members. Duties: To advise the City Council and the City Manager on all matters relating to policies and programs which will serve all senior citizens of the Rohnert Park community. To be appointed, the person must file an application of interest ( fact sheet ) with the City. The person must then be nominated by a Council member and receive a vote of a majority of the City Council favoring the appointment. If there is a vacancy prior to the completion of a term, the Council member who nominated said person shall be entitled to nominate a successor to complete the term of office. Meetings are held on the 3rd Thursday of January, June and September, at 1:00 p.m. at the Senior Center. STAFF CONTACT: Vicki Wilkerson, Recreation Supervisor - (707) 585-6784
