General Plan Update Underway The City of Rohnert Park is currently engaged in a technical Update of its 2000 General Plan. The Update is intended to reflect changes that have occurred in the City since 2000, as well as to add a new Sustainability Element to the General Plan and to revise the Housing Element as required by State Law. There will be a series of community workshops regarding the Update, as well as meetings of the General Plan Update Steering Committee, which is made up of Mayor Jake Mackenzie, Councilmember Vicki Vidak-Martinez, Planning Commission Vice Chair Shawn Kilat, and Planning Commissioner Amy Ahanotu. Meeting announcements, agendas and related documents will be available on the website as available. NOTICE IS HEREBY given that the City of Rohnert Park General Plan Update Steering Committee will be meeting on February 28, 2007 at 2:00 P.M. in the Community Room of the Spreckels Performing Arts Center located at 5409 Snyder Lane, Rohnert Park, CA 94928-2486.
