General Plan Update Underway The City of Rohnert Park is currently engaged in a technical Update of its 2000 General Plan.  The Update is intended to reflect changes that have occurred in the City since 2000, as well as to add a new Sustainability Element to the General Plan and to revise the Housing Element as required by State Law.  There will be a series of community workshops regarding the Update, as well as meetings of the General Plan Update Steering Committee, which is made up of Mayor Jake Mackenzie, Councilmember Vicki Vidak-Martinez, Planning Commission Vice Chair Shawn Kilat, and Planning Commissioner Amy Ahanotu.   Meeting announcements, agendas and related documents will be available on the website as available.  For additional information, please contact Planning Division staff at (707) 588-2236 or by e-mail at This e-mail address is being protected from spam bots, you need JavaScript enabled to view it .
