The City of Rohnert Park - Utility Department bills residential and commercial accounts for water, sewer and garbage services. Effective January 1, 2013, Rohnert Park Disposal will take over billing for garbage services.  For more information, please contact Rohnert Park Disposal at (707) 586-2283.

Description of Charges

Fixed Charges: Water Fixed charges and Sewer Fixed charges apply to all accounts provided with these services. Water Fixed charges are based on the size of the water meter and Sewer Fixed is a flat charge, to help cover the costs of maintaining the water and sewer systems.

Usage Charges: Water Usage charges are determined by the amount of water used during the billing period. Sewer Usage charges for Single-Family dwellings and Multi-Family dwellings are based on the winter average/sewer cap or the water consumption, depending on which is lower (see here for more information about the winter average/sewer cap). Refuse Charges: Refuse charges are determined by the size of the garbage can (cart) /dumpster bins serviced at the property. Rohnert Park Disposal provides the refuse service for all Residential and Commercial customers.
