Refuse Billing
The City of Rohnert Park contracts with Rohnert Park Disposal, Inc. to provide reliable collection of refuse, recyclables, and yard waste, Monday through Saturday. Rohnert Park Disposal also provides weekly street-sweeping throughout the City. Rohnert Park Disposal can be reached by telephone at (707) 586-2283 or www.unicycler.com.
Refuse charges are determined by the size of the garbage can/dumpster serviced at the property. Permanent and temporary debris boxes or compactors are billed according to the tons of refuse collected by the garbage company.
Effective January 1, 2013, Rohnert Park Disposal will be directly submitting bills to residential and commercial refuse customers. The City of Rohnert Park will phase out garbage billing and submit bills for water and sewer service only. For more information about these changes, please contact Rohnert Park Disposal at (707) 586-2283.
To open a garbage account, report a missed pickup, request new cans or change the size of your trash can, please contact Rohnert Park Disposal at (707) 586-2283. A Customer Service Representative can help you with any questions or concerns regarding garbage, recycling, yard waste and street sweeping.

Holidays
Rohnert Park Disposal provides garbage service Monday through Saturday every week, except for the following holidays: New Years Day, July 4th, Labor Day, Thanksgiving and Christmas. When these holidays fall on a weekday, garbage service will be delayed one day. For example, if a holiday falls on a Tuesday, regular Tuesday customers will receive refuse collection on Wednesday, and Wednesday customers will receive refuse collection on Thursday, etc. Friday customers will have their pickup on Saturday. Regular service resumes the week following the holiday. Any holiday not mentioned does not affect the pickup schedule.
Street Sweeping
Rohnert Park Disposal provides weekly street sweeping throughout the City of Rohnert Park. Some streets are designated with "No Parking" signs on street sweeping days. Please observe all posted signs regarding parking. In neighborhoods that do not have posted signs regarding street sweeping, please try to avoid parking on the street on your scheduled sweeping days. This will allow for maximum cleaning of the streets and help keep our City looking as pleasant as possible. Street Sweeping Schedule
