City Council Meetings City Council meetings are held on the second and fourth Tuesday of each month in the City Hall Council Chamber. Meetings officially begin at 5:00 p.m. The City Council Protocols set forth the procedural rules by which the Council conducts its meetings and City business. All regular meetings are televised live and re-broadcast on the Wednesday following the meeting at 1:00 p.m. on Comcast Channel 26.
In addition, anyone with a computer or laptop and internet access can view City Council meetings live through a link on the City’s Meeting Webcasts page. Viewers can also access archived webcasts of previous meetings at their convenience. These archived webcasts are indexed, allowing users to quickly jump to a particular agenda item, and provide easy access to most agenda-related documents.
Digital video recordings of meetings are retained for one year and are available for viewing or purchase at the City Clerk's Office.
How to Participate in a City Council MeetingCitizen participation in City Council meetings is welcomed and highly encouraged. For those citizens who may wish to address the Council on a matter, the meeting agenda regularly contains a Public Comment period near the beginning and another at the end of the open session for this purpose. Members of the public who wish to speak during the Public Comment period are asked to complete a speaker's card and are generally limited to three minutes of comments. The completed speaker's card is submitted to the City Clerk prior to the period designated for Public Comments.

If you would like to receive mailed copies of City Council agenda and minutes, complete the Agenda Subscription Form and remit with the appropriate fee to the City of Rohnert Park, Attn: City Council Agenda Subscriptions, 130 Avram Avenue, Rohnert Park, CA 94928.
If you would like to receive links to City Council agendas via email, complete the online e-Notifier form and check the box marked "City Council" under "Event Calendar." The e-Notifier service is free of charge.

Most City Council agenda items from October 13, 2009, to present are available for download at the City's Meeting Webcast page. To access agenda items, click on "Agenda" next to the meeting date and agenda items will be linked within the meeting agenda. Within the Meeting Webcast page, you may also perform a keyword search for specific agenda items or topics under "Search Archives." To obtain copies of agenda items prior to October 13, 2009, please contact the City Clerk's Office at (707) 588-2227.
