The work is described generally as coating of existing pump station wet well and grinder chamber (201 J Rogers Lane), replacement of pump station ventilation equipment, installation of new ventilation monitoring system, installation of new bypass piping, bypass pumping, and other appurtenances as necessary to complete the project. 

The Contractor must have a valid California contractor’s license, a Class A license. The Engineer’s estimate for this Project is $910,000. The Contractor must begin work within fifteen (15) calendar days after official notice by the City Engineer to proceed with the work and must diligently prosecute the same to completion within 80 business days of that Notice.

A prebid conference will be held at 10:00 AM on April 13, 2026, at the project site. Attendance at the prebid conference is non-mandatory for all prime contractors submitting a bid. For those who have attended the prebid conference, additional site visits can be scheduled if the City is notified twenty-four (24) hours in advance.
