Rohnert Park Road Improvements Update: June 22-28, 2019

Work is scheduled for this Saturday, June 22, at the intersection of Lawrence E Jones Middle School and Rancho Grande north to Keiser. Drilling and cutting will begin at 8 a.m. There will be a flagger on site to direct traffic. Please slow down in this area and pay attention to directions given by flaggers.

Next week, northbound traffic on Snyder Lane will be shifted to share current southbound lanes. Bike lanes in both directions will be closed and require sharing of traffic lanes on the northbound side.

In an effort to minimize project length and complete construction activites in Snyder Lane as early as possible, the City has permitted the Contractor to perform work from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m. seven days a week until mid-August, 2019. Notice will continue to be provided ahead of any work scheduled for Saturday or Sunday.

Moving forward, the City will work with the Contractor in an attempt to organize daily activities to the extent possible so that louder work starts at 8 a.m. instead; however, this may not always be possible. We appreciate your patience and your feedback while we continue to provide and improve City infrastructure.
