Country Club Drive Pavement Rehabilitation Project – Construction Update 5/03/21

Construction began this week on the Country Club Drive Pavement Rehabilitation Project. 

Demolition of the sidewalks and curb ramps on the east side of Country Club Drive is complete. Temporary pathways and ramps are being built, and will soon be available for pedestrian use. During this work, pedestrians are advised to follow all posted signage, and be sure to remain on designated temporary pathways.

The demolition of the west side sidewalks and curb ramps is scheduled to take place on May 5 and May 6. Residents in the area should expect noise and dust from jackhammers.

Other construction over the next week includes rebuilding of curb ramps and excavation. Most of this work will be taking place on the shoulder of the road, during which all lanes of traffic are anticipated to remain open. Motorists should use extra caution and follow all posted construction signs.

Please note that all schedules are subject to change due to unforeseen circumstances. Construction work hours are from 8:00 am to 6 pm, Monday through Friday.
