Rohnert Park Road Improvements Update for Week of April 4, 2022:

Keiser Avenue Improvements

Upcoming work (all schedules are subject to change due to unforeseen circumstances)

The streetlights have been tested and energized, and the City's initial review of the entire project has taken place. As a result of that review, there are several project elements which have been determined to need some further work. This work is estimated to take up to two-to-three weeks.

Schedule

The reopening of Keiser Avenue is anticipated for mid-April, 2022. We will continue to update the timing of the road reopening as progress is made.

Keiser Avenue only accessible to residents, community garden visitors

During this project, Keiser Avenue between Snyder Lane and Kerry Road will remain closed to through-traffic, and open to residents and community garden visitors only. Access for these motorists is from Snyder Lane only. Residents of the Redwood Apartments have access from Petaluma Hill Road and Kerry Road. Your access will periodically be impacted by the construction activity, so please allow time for the contractor to accommodate your vehicles when you are entering and exiting the area.

As this work continues, residents in the area should expect work crews, equipment, trucks entering and exiting the area, noise, and dust. For your safety, please be aware of construction activity and equipment, and observe all traffic signs and any flagger instructions.
