Over the weekend, the federal government passed a new round of financial assistance. This emergency relief package of approximately $900 billion provides direct payments to households, refreshes loan programs for businesses and financial institutions, provides assistance to schools and local governments, renews government benefits that were about to expire and extends the moratorium on renter evictions through the end of January 2021.

| Last week we shared California's new $500 million Relief Grant for Small Businesses Program. Mark your calendars that the application for this program opens on Wednesday, December 30th. The program's website is already live and Community Development Financial Institutions (CDFIs) in Sonoma County are ready to assist you. |
