COVID Mitigation Policies

Spreckels is committed to the safety of its patrons, artists and staff. We appreciate your understanding that as national and local policies change, the Spreckels policy will reflect changes as well. Here is the Spreckels COVID mitigation policy as of 9/1/22 The policy applies to Spreckels productions.

Please read carefully, as there have been changes.

General Protocols

  • Spreckels staff and volunteers are all fully vaccinated
  • Actors are either fully vaccinated or may test 2x weekly in lieu of vaccination. This is rarely the case.
  • All lobby and restroom surfaces are disinfected before each performance and before intermission.
  • Hand sanitizing stations are available throughout the lobby and dressing rooms.
  • Disposable masks are available for those who need them.

Performance Protocols-Performers

  • In accordance with State of California and County of Sonoma guidelines, performers in plays produced by Spreckels Theater Company will be unmasked.
  • A distance of at least 6’ between the audience and performers continues to be maintained for the time being.
  • In the Studio Theater, the front row of seats has been removed to ensure distancing between actors and audience. Otherwise, all seats will be made available in both theaters.

Performance Protocols-Audience

  • Due to changes in state guidelines, patrons are no longer required to wear masks, regardless of vaccination status.
  • To mask or not to mask? It is entirely up to the individual.

We thank you in advance for your support as we all continue to make our way through this brave new world.
