Rohnert Park, CA (August 4, 2020) – CAMBRIA SONOMA IS WELCOMED WITH A RIBBON CUTTING
The City of Rohnert Park officially welcomed the Cambria Sonoma hotel as it opened today. The Cambria is a 132-room hotel located at 5870 Labath Avenue. The property includes an outdoor pool, fitness center, restaurant and lounge, and meeting space. Attracting businesses that bring visitors is a key part of the City’s economic development strategy.
Mayor Joseph T. Callinan said, “We’re excited to welcome Cambria to Rohnert Park. We’re always happy to see new businesses in Rohnert Park and look forward to their success. This is an important part of other development on the land the City sold, including 135 new apartments to help our housing supply.” The hotel emerges from a once vacant field and is one of numerous projects underway on the west side of Rohnert Park. This includes a new park built that will serve residents of the new and other nearby apartments. The park includes the City’s first bocce ball court and a skate feature.
In addition to Cambria Sonoma, the Fairfield Inn and Suites is scheduled to open later this year, followed by the City’s new West Side Fire Station next year.
